My perspective...Heroku will work.

Pros:
  - I don't have to admin a server (which has downtime)
  - Plugins are easy to install
  - Database is already configured
  - I don't have to admin a server (hurrah!)
  - Migrations are easy
  - Edit my app from any computer
  - Git push and pull (yea!)
  - Scalability (potentially)
  - I don't have to admin a server (yea!)
  - Smart people driving it with money riding on it

My main concern is app response time. I do most of my
development locally so the downtime and response time hasn't
affected me.

I'm thankful there are so many people using Heroku that it's
helping solidify the framework. As James pointed out, this
is true beta, the code just can't get its final tweaks right
unless it's under load and being used as intended.

As for the amount of email reporting problems, we tend not
to hear from people who aren't having trouble. Any outage
can bring a relative flood of emails.

As for me, I'm having fun, on board the Heroku train and
looking forward to the journey.
