I read about a guy who did put the materials on top of a small car and drove
around his town back on the east coast to make sure it would handle the
wind. He sandwhiched it in-between plywood. After being convinced it would
make it he headed of the BRC. On the way, a semi was approaching on a
two-way highway and it ripped the materials righted off the top of his car
that, according to him, was strapped on really tight. He was thankful he did
not hurt anyone and then re-strapped them to his car with re-inforced straps
by running them through his windows andtying them off under his roof. Just
make darn sure you strap it down really well...
