just to add a little more information to the mix:

when i spoke to them last Saturday, the Lowes in Cotati had 68 1" Rmax panels
in stock @ $15ish each. there's a 10% off coupon you can grab from the Change
of Address packed from your post office, which makes those really cheap. but
delivery to SF is something around $300.

the home depot pro in colma just ran through their stock of 1" Rmax, but are
ordering more (should be coming in 1-2 days). if you bring the lowes ad to the
store, they will match the price. & if you order more than 30 panels, there is
an additional discount.

i picked up most of our 70 panels (did i mention the hexayurts really caught on
in my camp?) this past weekend & today from the home depot, but they didn't
have quite enough to round out my order. hoping to get the rest of them up to
SF on thursday, so if anyone is headed out that way from the city with a truck
who has room for a rider & another 12 panels - let me know! (our truck
privileges have expired for the moment)

we had a 7 person / 6 yurt workday today & had a lot of fun! discovered that
using a non-serrated blade on a jigsaw works really nicely for the straight
cuts. no dust & a quick and easy pass. not as nice as we would have hoped for
the beveled edges, but i guess that's what you get when you don't have table
saw.

excited about our little hexa-community on-playa!
