Hi Milt, I assume this is for Burning Man.
What your describing sounds very much like what I did last year with my 6' stretch. It worked out fine. You'll have extra tape (6" bi-filament - nothing else) and rope to overcome any last minute snags. With 6 tie down points you won't have trouble.
