Our H13 was transported on the roof of a Dodge Sprinter. We wrapped it
in a blue tarp, which we later used for the floor. After wrapping it
well, we sandwiched it between two sheets of MDF and secured the whole
package with ratchet straps. It worked very well, except the straps
did bit into the edges of the panels a little bit. This could be
easily fixed with some foam padding or similar, or as Tom suggests,
circumferentially placed ply-wood.

The yurt survived transport to and from Chicago -> Playa with out any
problems at all. We went as far as to secure a smaller piece of
ply-wood in front of the leading edge of the package. We believe this
reduced drag and helped our fuel efficiency, but that all could have
been wishful thinking. YMMV
