Yes, the roof rack has cross-members in the front, back, and several in the middle. The 4' long edge of the ramp was hinged to the roofrack with zipties so we could fold it forward for easy access. Then we just secured the top with a ratchet strap and we were ready to go. The nice bit is that we could stuff things in front of the yurt, behind the ramp for extra storage during transport.
