We taped the tarp up against the outside of the yurp with inch-wide painters' tape this year. Peeled right off with zero damage to the walls.
I think taping around the outside of walls instead of the inside may even function as a second tension ring. It's probably not really huge structural improvement but I want to believe... :-D Next year, I'll use wider painters tape; 2" at elast.
