A quick question for you, if I may. I'm starting a project with some folks to develop adhoc mesh netwoking backbones kept aloft by aerostats. The company that I contacted that makes Mil Spec aerostats requested some "mission specific" criteria, such as altitude above sea level, etc. It is our goal to be as off-the-shelf as possible, but aerostats aren't exactly off-the-shelf items. In what regions do natural disasters hit most frequently, what is the average altitude? Are they coastal, generally humid areas mainly? My thought are that if we can target the most common environment, we can generalize enough for aerostats to be deployed in most disaster situations. Thanks!
