Admirable keeping off-fall from landfill!  Good job!

As far as most of your other questions, it really goes to the purpose of
the structure, how it's handled, delivered, put up, etc.  At Burning Man,
most people are looking to foam board yurts as something nearly as portable
as a tent, especially weight-wise and potentially as comfortable as an RV
at less cost.  There's little interest in rodent-proofing - no ratz at BM
and then you try to store the panel bundle where it won't be disturbed.
I'd be interested in metal-skinned board, sips etc. in my examination of
hexayurts as rapid, but possibly longish-term emergency/disaster shelter.
