Cheers Dan, good points. Perhaps i should have mentioned the purpose in
more detail.

I was looking to build something less portable than the standard hexayurt,
so more permanent. Here in the damper Uk, we have more of a rat problem,
especially if food stuffs are stored in the shelter to attract them.

I aim to build in a mezzanine shelf for sleeping /storing, so have gone
down the frame route. However, If joints are strong enough & metal-skinned
PIR panels do not delaminate, I suspect the structure would hold without a
frame (with no mezzanine) but have yet to prove it.

I may try that first, then add a frame to prove a point.

The design will be stronger now, as i will stop using screws where
possible as per my last prototype

( l was using them for low cost & avoiding thermal bridges) and now use
bolts & washers with an insulating cap im many places. These will help stop
any delamination of the metal skin of panels.

I have yet to experiment with pop rivets though.
