Oh boy, am I out of my league here. I just had a look (pure curiosity) at a site for AER amps and found that the cheapest was about £500 UK. My poor little amp cost £25 (and sounds it) but then my HG didn't cost that much more than a new amp would!. Ah well, maybe one day.
