Another newbie comes out of hiding! Been reading for a week or two to try to get a read on how hard it is to build an instrument. My take is it's difficult but not impossible-in fact, it sounds like it may be easier to build than to actually learn to play it. Which is OK, because my woodworking skills (not much to brag about) are still a sight better than my musical skills. Anyway, I've finally taken the plunge and ordered plans, but don't expect construction to begin until the fall. Other projects in line first. So, if I'm not around for a while, I'm sure I'll be back before construction begins. But good to know there is advice available. Thanks. John Tappan
