Hi Marcello,

how amazing - I always thought I should at least know about even the most
obscure publishings on the hurdy-gurdy from that time when I collected
everthyng on gurdies for my archive. But this is news for me and I would be
very interested to lay hand on a copy of this Ph.D.

So if anybody has an idea how to get a printed copy please let me know!

Good luck for your friend and good to hear that our beloved instrument may
be subject of another Ph.D. I hope to get some info once this new work has
been published. If your friend needs any specific info - tell him to contact
me, maybe I can help at least with some hints.

Best regards,
Uli

Betreff: [HG] Searching for a book

Hi

A dear friend of mine asked me about this:

"HURDY-GURDIES FROM HIERONYMUS BOSCH TO REMBRANDT"
by Kahren J. HELLERSTEDT
(Ph.D, dissertation, University of Pittsburgh, 1980).

Since he already got microfilm of the first part, he
is expecially searching for the second part of the
work (pp. 265-366, where all the pictures are) that
could be precious for his own Ph.D.

I don't know anything about it, coud you help us to
find the book or the author?

Thanks in advance

Marcello
