Graham -
It could be an issue with the server that stores the zip file. I
have a pretty fast DSL connection, and when I try to download it here
in the US, the data transfer rate maxes out at about (ready?)... 3kb
per second! Estimated download time, approximately 12 hours.
Other downloads seem to take my computer about one to three seconds
per Mb. So I will blame the foreign server and move on ! :)

It shouldn't take that long
Even at the slowest broadband (DSL) of 500kbs 85mb should take 28 minutes
500kbs/sec is around 50k bytes per second
85mb = 85000 kbytes
Divide that by 50 you get 28.3 minutes
I just tried it, it took me 90 seconds
4 hours for 85mb equates to a download speed of 60kb/s
No broadband (DSL) is that slow
A couple of days ago I downloaded an 988mb file in 20 minutes
I don't understand why anyone struggles on with dial-up
Broadband is the same price or cheaper than dial-up with no call charges
And your phone line stays free

Thanks Colin,
I am on broadband and the download time takes 4 hours as it is 85MB.
I hope it will work.

I used a link from the linked page (if you follow) - first the picture of
men in white shirts (a band?) marked "Festival folk etc". Then on the page
that opens, there are two zip files (both "concionero" in their titles).
Alas my PC crashed overnight so I haven't downloaded them but, I presume,
one of them is what you want.

I am hoping the first one is the one we want (judging by the size). I'll try
the download tonight.
If anyone knows for certain, please post for us poor dial-ups.
Oh, I recommend the Midi files.
