Hi,
I have been looking at the photos of the Balazs Nagy tekerolant that is for
sale on eBay. There is one thing I don't understand about the tekero. What is
the purpose of the chess pawn sized piece that the bass drone string runs
through that is located between the bass drone bridge and the tail end of the
string? I see that the horse shaped piece is the bass drone bridge, but I
don't understand the purpose of the pawn piece.
  Wondering in Michigan,
  David Smith

There is a 3-string Balazs Nagy tekerolant on eBay with a buy-it-now
price of $2200. It was made for Ethan James about ten years ago. I'm
not sure how the present seller ended up with it, but was probably a
student of James'. It looks to be in really good shape.
