No idea about the travel , as many here I went to Montluçon from St Chartier while at the festival . One thing to remember is to watch for guinea hen ( pintade
in french ) on the restaurant menu , since they raise them in the area .

In Paris there are two places to see , first the " Cité de la Musique " at the site of the
La Vilette old slauther houses , now a nice city park .

There is a youth hostel in the area .

Less known , again in the meat world ..... ( hope you are not vegetarian )

experience .

Hello all,

On my way over to the baroque hurdy gurdy course in Switzerland I am planning to see some things in France. I was planning to go to the Hurdy-Gurdy and traditional instruments Museum in Montlucon. I was wondering what the easiest (and cheapest) way to get from Paris to Montlucon would be, and how do I get from Montlucon to Lyon? All help and any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Any suggestions as to the best places to experience HG in Paris?

Thankyou kindly,

Jane Ruckert
