Hi All,My trompette on my G/C Phoenix is sounding incredibly harsh, like it needs to be shimmed (having too much pressure on the wheel I think) But does one shim the trompette bridge just like the chanter strings? Or could this be remedied with something else?
Tried recottoning & rosin but doesn't seem to change. All other strings sound fine.
