It is for exactly this reason that I did build the extension:/
source-factory protocol, to avoid these kind of problems. I did find to
many relative paths with {globalconstants:cms-extensionspath} which
depended on which sitemap you were in, that I added the extensions
source-factory. Obviously, a lot of old code does not use it. It was
quite a job to get it working for a cocoon install and deploy (the
relative paths change) for all webcontainers at the same time, but it
seems to be working everywhere
