Huh?  Are you talking about not being able to see the current score of players
on the server or something else?  You mention sending them messages to "catch
them up to what's happened".  The only thing that happened before the new HLTV
observer client joined was that people changed their score.  When you connect
to the HLTV server you should have up to date score information.

Perhaps you are trying to "buffer up" some other the previous events that
occurred on the server then send those out to a new client when they join.  You
can't do that.  That data is long gone.  That would be like trying to get the
radio station to hold their broadcasting when you turn off your radio, then
pick up where you left off as soon as you turn it back on again.  It don't work
that way!  :)
