This is a map build too enhancement, so it's semi on/semi off topic, but
none the less I thought it might be appropriate to post about it here.

Here's a description of the tool (from it's homepage at
http://countermap.counter-strike.net/Mapster/...

It is a wrapper for netvis to allow coordination of peer to peer netvis
jobs via a central registry for active netvis servers. It allows for
machines to function as either netvis servers which would like external
machines to join them for running netvis, or as netvis helpers, which
are available to act as netvis clients for active and registered netvis
servers.
By utilizing a central Mapster Registry, Mapster eliminates the need for
the "human network" required to utilize netvis. Mappers no longer need
to solicit netvis clients when running a netvis server.

Note that Mapster is not a replacment for netvis, but rather a wrapper
or frontend for it, to coordinate the registration and discovery of
active netvis jobs.

Anyway, you might all find this interesting, and hopefully some of you
that do map builds (or have spare CPU) will actually try it out. It's a
bit rought right now, but has a huge potential IMHO. If you've ever run
netvis, you will probably see just how useful this can be right off the
bat.
