I'm trying to bring my linux test server up to date from 3.1.1.0 to
3.1.1.1d so I can install Steam. I installed the patch and fired up the
server as usual, but for some reason, HL isn't paying full attention to
the liblist.gam file anymore. I have specified that it use
"HPB_wf_i486.so" (a modified version of the HPB bot for use with my
mod), but for some reason HL insists on using "HPB_i386.so" instead
which doesn't exist (missing DLL error). Is this a side effect of the
VAC? Are there now restrictions on what we can name our dlls? The mod
will run if I remove the bot dll and use the game dll alone without the bot.

Also, just for fun I tried to install server Steam anyway, ignoring the
dll error. The install crashes immediately after entering "yes" to the
license agreement. The script is looking for 'uncompress' which doesn't
exist on RH8.0. Any suggestions to work around this?
