The client content servers are very badly overloaded, I've been trying all morning to get past the updating steam point. It downloads at about 1 or 2K, when it downloads at all. It spends most of it's time just sitting there and is for all pratical purposes dead in the water, unusable. I think by the end of the day there is going to be a lot of outrage at this - unless Valve can find a way to provide more bandwidth.
