Hey alls I dont know if you guys have got the xp sp 2 beta, or if you have run into the error but...
When i complie a fresh 2.3 dll, and put it in steam, and load the mod via the "My Games" i get a black screen, and have to reboot (that i do after 2 mins of wating) I am runing a 9600 (posibly this is casing it, as i have never used a ati before) - the 9600 has the cats from PCGamer UK 137 (its to big to download the lattest cats on 56k) - so dont ask me for the version number yet Before i put the 9600 in, i was runing a mx 440, that i removed fully before puting the 9600 in. I am also using dx 9.0c, and runing steam in open gl On a side note, 3dmark2001se, and 3dmark2003 have the same symptoms Is this an ati issue, that i can fix with the won 1.9 ati patch? or is this a new error that valve might be able to fix, or is it me, and my nub skills in ati cards?
