I agree that Source has features that other engines have had for years but those other engines made tradeoffs. Plus Valve seems to do much better with the look of the games they make. I feel much more immersed and the textures look so real. I would like to see models reflecting in water ... Seeing a tug boat floating on water and seeing no reflection is weird. Unreal you could see yourself but not in Source. Plus the Unreal sky's were awesome. Clouds drifting by against a bright moon.
