Sigh, what's the point of ranting and insulting? Shouting louder than
everyone else to attempt to make your point "more valid" is kinda
annoying.

We all know that people would like to claim the longest feature list
possible, especially if selling a license for a game engine. Game
developers don't make decisions about licensing lightly, and an extra
check never hurts your prospects for a sale if you can reasonably make
the claim. I have a hard time believing that Valve would fraudulently
place extra features in their marketing material. Any licensee can
easily verify the claim since they'll (at least, I assume) have the
source code. While marketing people do make exaggerations, I have a
hard time believing that Valve is employing marketing people so brazen
as to fabricate engine feature check marks. My take is that perhaps
that particular check mark is an exaggeration, perhaps they're faking
radiosity instead of implementing it accurately, but if it's not in
the engine at all as you seem to claim, why would they risk their
reputation by sticking it on the list?
