-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] AFAIK, before the new version, if you opened Steam without being connected to Internet, a dialog gave you the options to retry or log under offline mode. Looks like this option isn't available anymore. It's a shame, because it came very handy when you took your laptop to a place without any ways of accessing Internet. --
