Put your icon_mourning.tga file in your root folder (where gameinfo.txt is).
Then
"icon" "icon_mourning"
int your gameinfo.txt
Should be ok.

My apologies, the icon is named resource/icon_mourning.tga. Sorry for
any potential confusion.

HI everyone! I'm Rob Crowther, new to the list and Source modding.
I've worked on small mods for Tribes in the past. I have to say, the
past couple days of working with the Source SDK have been a blast.
It's a pleasure to work with.
I've started work on a single player mod and run into one set of
issues so far. While the mod shows up in My Games in Steam, it doesn't
display the icon or developer information. I've got an icon,
resource/icon.tga. It's 16x16px, 24 bit, but I've also tried 32 bit.
It's uncompressed, created in Photoshop CS2.
The GameInfo.txt (exact naming) has the following in it, right after
ToolsAppId and before SearchPaths:
"developer" "Dress To Survive"
"developer_url" "http://dresstosurvive.wordpress.com/"
"icon" "resource/icon"
"manual"
Thanks for the wonderful engine and tools! I'd appreciate any
suggestions to get this one little piece working.
Sincerely,
Rob Crowther
