You could mod the CUserCMD class I believe so that it is capable of holding extra data, like at the very end have a bit to indicate whether there is more data to be read or not. The issue you could have with that is the chance of the information never arrive or being discarded for being too late to be of use. But that command packet is the most flexible way you could attach data, otherwise pulling it out of the ClientCmd string. If you spend time rooting around in the SDK code yourself and understanding how sources networking functions you'll know immediately what the best approach is for your needs.
