I understand some people have managed to get buildsdkshaders.bat to work, but unfortunately I'm not one of them. The best I can do is make it stop complaining visibly. Could anyone give, in detail, the steps they took to get the shaders to actually compile?
On another note, am I crazy or does the March 09 Directx sdk not have psh.exe or vsh.exe? I couldn't find them anywhere and had to nab an older version. For reference, I have: Set my tools and gamedir path in buildsdkshaders.bat commented out SDKBINDIR= in buildsdkbuildshaders.bat added my .fxc shaders to stdshader_dx9_20b.txt placed fxc.exe, psh.exe, vsh.exe, and nmake.exe in the dxsdk utilities folder changed "SDKBINDIR" in to "%sourcesdk%\bin\orangebox\bin" in buildshaders.bat as per flynt's instructions downloaded mysql_wrapper.dll from the wiki to sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders
