yes it sounds great and send great too... also, if you have an SB Live
Platinum with the Live Drive and plug your microphone into the front, DON'T
go through the voice setup util. it'll force Mic 1 to be the input device
(and you want Mic 2, the front panel one). took a while to realize that.
