I know this may not help you..
I have been running the new 4.1.0.8 with no problems on a Win2k Professional Workstation. I had to completely uninstall 4.1.0.7 and then install the full 4.1.0.8 in order for things to work correctly for me. When you uninstall 4.1.0.7, it still leaves some files that you have to manually delete before you install 4.1.0.8.
