yanno u can goto microsoft and sign up for a "eval" version of 2k3 32 bit edition and 64. completely free and run fine for 6 months before you have to buy it.
just fyi. this way u can give 2k3 a spin free. odd thing is, microsoft doesnt actually keep the 6 month time-out on their end, so a reinstall gives you another 6 months. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roc" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2004 7:18 PM Subject: Re: [hlds] Windows 2000 or Windows 2003? > Thank you Sir > > Regards > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Napier, Kevin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2004 3:41 PM > Subject: RE: [hlds] Windows 2000 or Windows 2003? > > > > 2000 vs 2003 if cost is a non issue use 2003. > > As for hlds it really makes very little difference. > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Roc [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2004 3:30 PM > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Subject: Re: [hlds] Windows 2000 or Windows 2003? > > > > > > If cost is NOT an issue would 2003 then be the way to go? > > > > I'm asking because I was going to try 2003 and now want to be sure to I'm > > making the right decision. > > > > Regards > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Napier, Kevin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2004 2:05 PM > > Subject: RE: [hlds] Windows 2000 or Windows 2003? > > > > > > > I think you mean 'making it expensive..' not useless. > > > > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > > From: Steven Hartland [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2004 10:07 AM > > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > Subject: Re: [hlds] Windows 2000 or Windows 2003? > > > > > > > > > Not true as far as I know it isn't hyperthread "aware" but that doesn't > > > stop u using it.
