Nicknames like "ÃâÃÂÃâÃâÃâÃÂÃâÂ" and "ÃÂÂÃÂâÃÂÂÃââÃââBuNnY" really don't
make any sense whatsoever, I can't fathom what you hope to gain out of
allowing them in nicknames, but I'd appreciate it if there was support
to limit the characterset to something more suitable.

The characterset in Half-Life 1 seems to be perfect for nicknames. I
can understand if you require extended character support for languages
other than English or a variety of other purposes, but they have no
place in nicknames, and it's hard to police them (that and there are a
few "issues" popping up with the included characters [including %]).

So yeah, using unicode for support was a really neat idea, it's just
getting abused by a lot of tards around, so it'd be nice if there was a
way to block it built-in to Half-Life 2 rather than us having to wait
for metamod or Alfred's mod to create plugins to block them :/
