Thanks for that John that fixed it. Pretty messed up that seems like
its having a huge impact on people something they really need to fix
ASAP. If I had a slow line boy would I be pissed that I had to
redownload an extra Gig cuz the of a bug in steam.
Do I trust my Credit Card to an app that cant even do a simple
download. I think not.

I just checked the status of my halflife2 preload and it was sat
at 69% ( waiting for the latest chunk). With the window open
I managed to mistakenly click "Pause" now it doesn't matter
how many times I click "Continue" nothing happens it still
sits with "Continue" and doesn't change back to "Pause".

Basically the solution is to quit Steam and delete "counter-strike
source shared content.gcf". You'll drop 10% of the preload, but will
continue past the 69% mark...
