I have this problem with my servers fps output. We are leasing a box and
have two servers on it atm (but up to 4-5 more coming soon). We are starting
them in console mode now, but used vgui at first till we got the command
parameters corrected.

But, when server is running its only putting out a max of about 64 fps. I
know with other servers (hlds) it puts out over 128-512+ fps. I did some
research and the only way that is being suggested to get it higher is to use
pingbooster (udpsoft). I know that you don't need to use this, because I
didn't use this on the older server and we had 128-256 fps on it.

Things I have tried.
1.) Set process priority to high. (Didn't work)
2.) Set process affinity to only one cpu. (Didn't work)
3.) Started server with -dev mode. (Didn't work)
4.) Increased fps_max to over 350 and sys_ticrate to 200+. (Didn't work)
5.) Started server with -pingbooster x (x=1,2,3). (Didn't work)
6.) Started server with -mode x (x=1,2,3). (Didn't work)

Server specs:
P4 3.2ghz
1 gig ram
10mbps port to oc3-192 backbone

Only normal services, one ftp, and two hlds instances are running on the
box.

Both hlds will not go over 64fps. The research I've done states that if you
run a COD server it will go higher. Or if you run some kind of .avi file in
winamp it will go higher. In addition to these, running udpsofts
pingbooster, will make it go higher.

None of those options will work for us. We do not/cannot run a COD server.
Running an avi file in winamp just doesn't make sense to get more fps. Using
a pingbooster to change a setting that should be changeable without the
program is not an option.

I have ran out of ideas here. If you can help me with this issue I would
greatly appreciate it.
