Do you just want it to look at, or are you collecting the information? Every HLDS/SRCDS console I've seen has the current map, players and server fps along the top of the console window. You have to turn the scroll buffer off (right click on the console window -> Properties -> Screen Buffer Size -> change the 300 to 25).
