We are trying to reproduce the FPS problem reliably (we can do it, it just takes a while slowing down the debugging loop). I would also point out that FPS and tick count are decoupled, a lower FPS (that is still above the tick rate) will not effect the game (so dropping to 250 from 500 is not a problem). We are also debugging a couple general crashes right now that manifest as the Abnormal termination dialog.
