dLink gb switch, gb nic on Asus mother board, Netgear gb nic, Linksys gb
nic, cat5 cable. I can push about 300mb through the system, which is 5 times
more then when it was all 100mb. I had hoped for more, but I think I'm
pushing the limits of the software and/or individual hardware. IE for
example my old pIII/800 boots from an old Maxtor 2GB drive and I don't think
it can push more then a couple hundred gb regardless of the network
capacity. I'm still playing with it, as it's all new gear.
