-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Alright This just has to stop 1. Every time there is a STEAM Update every damn demo taken beforehand gets broken 2. The argument that you don't need to take demos of Cheats to get rid of them as VAC will take care of them just doesn't wash. It has been over 12 months now without a VAC update with no end in sight for VAC to get updated, and no guarantee that VAC won't be as useless as before even if it is updated, so don't dare waste our time stating that VAC is the proper cheat solution, it has not been, and probably will never be anything remotely close to a decent cheat solution. 3. Thus we as Game Server Providers who want to be fair and impartial require that we keep evidence of the people who cheat on our servers. When the person complains, we have the evidence and the user is free to complain as far up the management chain as they wish, but it won't change the fact that they cheated and we have the proof and can prove it! Whilst STEAM Updates keep breaking our demos we don't have evidence and can no longer enforce bans based on them. This is a ridiculous state of affairs and I do not understand why Valve does not release a Demo patching program that will convert one versions demo's into the latest version. I have no faith in VAC as it is, but even if they release VAC tomorrow, I doesn't help us keep cheats off our servers. Please Valve, do something!!
