Then by all means allow me to post the answer to why we receive the error "Available memory less than 15MB!!!" when we have 4GB of system RAM and I would be most happy to post that in any area of the wiki you direct me to. It is a pop-up window that says this and according to steampowered.com in searching for that phrase continues to be an unanswered question. One that owners of very large/powerful servers would appreciate the answer to I'm sure. If where that question was placed was in error it would've been for lack of direction as to where to place it. Deleting a legitimate question in the days of more powerful systems seems a tad inappropriate and more suited to a change of venue versus a complete deletion as it well-described the issue in brief but clear details. I would much appreciate the opportunity to direct others that have not received this answer to their solution but I will be at the mercy of the developers on this one or someone who has overcome this situation. Attempts to create a new thread for this issue have been in vain so I am left to replying to an existing thread. We are to understand from Linux users that they do not have this problem yet with HLDS being "optimized for Windows", as they say, it would be most helpful to have this answer and your wiki seemed like a perfect place to post it. Beyond that we come to this list for help and hope that it is to be found.

The wiki is a repository for information, it's not a place to ask tech support questions. The Wiki is designed to be fully searchable for each person to help themselves. 2. Things like what you posted do not belong where they were posted. There is a 'discussion' tab. 3. We're in the process of organizing and adding information, aplogies if we don't have time to answer tech support questions. The wiki is a place where, once you have your answer, you can post how you resolved your issue should anyone have the same problem in the future. Questions like yours are better reserved for this mailing list, or for various tech support forums. Sorry if there was any confusion. --- Mike "DaiTengu" Miller Serverwiki Founder http://www.serverwiki.org H^2 | http://www.daitengu.com -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
