not 100% sure but I would bet money is that its one of the surf maps that
floods the console window(notorious problem with surf maps) and thats
causing the server issues

i'm getting 10 FPS for 3-4 seconds after round start on large maps
(especially certain surf maps)... the server is very skippy during that
time.

the CS: Source SRCDS is running on a Dual Xeon 2.8GHz 2GB RAM with Hyper
Threading OFF. it isn't any better with HT on.

CPU load is under 25% and there's 1.5GB free RAM

i run a couple other CS: Source and DoD: Source servers on the same box
but
even if those servers are empty the FPS still drops to 10...

this is a 12 player 66 tickrate server. any idea why FPS drops so low?
