na I had already got it fixed clans guy.  It was that I had maxplayers set
on serverdoc.  It kept shutting it down I set it as high as 60 players same
deal I run 40 player slot css servers(yes I knjwo this isn't recommended)
Still kept shutting down as soon as I removed the quote for a max of any
player number the thing seems to be stable.  So its something that has to do
with max players as I think james said in his post I dunno what happened but
it somehow effected the way serverdoc reads these thigns

dear sprout,

1.remove your mods dll's , then restart it to confirm that was the probem.
2. uninstall any 3rd party programs that may run off of steams dll's, then
restart to confirm its fixed
3. reinstall from a fresh hldsupdatetool.
i had this problem for about 30 minutes after the update. this is how i
fixed it.

ok congrats valve my server won't start now at all just keeps crashing
and
starting crashing and starting I run a duel xeon 3.0 ghz 2 gig of ram no
plugins installed since I guessed that was the case.  Preciate the update
