For your information, it's the STANDARD MODS...CS, DoD, DM. None work. Many others have encountered the same problem, so it's not just me. I'm not a noob, fyi. Before you start spouting gutter-mouthed personal attacks, you might consider that some of us have considerable experience and training in the field. As a matter of fact, precisely because I don't trust Valve or Steam, I don't setup extraordinary configurations or modifications. The closer to stock, the less those people can hide behind "it's something you did to your system". The problem happened to many people, simultaneously, immediately after the last update. I didn't say it's happening to everyone. Just because you don't have bird flu doesn't mean bird flu isn't real.
This isn't the first time they've pumped out flawed code, and it won't be the last.
