Alfred, Like all the other betas, I've updated my server to participate.
Here's an honest question. Can you give me an honest answer? Why should server operators participate in betas that you (Valve) deem important, if you don't release betas all the time, especially for changes that affect the things that we (the server operators) deem important? I know you want us to help you to help us. But unless you release betas for every update, all of this is rather pointless as we can't even help ourselves. The current system returns you IP's from near your address first and then fans out (essentially converting an IP to an integer and walking that list).
