The reason being is the "67" is convertible to a number, while converting "+67" to a number yields 0." "The other effect you are seeing is because you have essentially gone from 67 to the server minimum, which could cause a difference in game play." Nope. The server was enforcing cl_cmdrate 40 as a minimum. When I entered cl_cmdrate +67 into console my net_graph continued to output 67 packets a second while the scoreboard changed to a 5ms ping. Unless I am missing something? : ) I think cl_cmdrate +67 causes a problem in the interp calculations for the client which results in their interp delay being a lot lower than most (if not all) other players.
