Sounds a bit like re-inventing the wheel to me.
Hostnames are far more easy to remember and more customizable then...

On top of that, I don't think it would take more than an hour to implement.

Alfred told me, that they are already working on it. But they want to use a
steamid based system instead of hostnames ... but it's the same ...
that was a half year ago and it's still on their todo list :P
