Hi, I'll just drop this here as apparently the posts get removed from steampowered forums for no apparent reason.
First off, don't get me wrong, I support the idea of improving the steam community features and would love to see it extended to be more of a use to players and server operators. One thing I question thought is why can I turn off the stuff so I disable seeing all my friends getting achievements, adding friends, getting games and what not. But can't I disable this for OUTgoing? I don't want my profile to be private, but I neither want all of people in my friendslist to constantly see who I add, what games I bought etc etc. Would it be an idea to add an option to block outgoing notifications on this as well?
