So I have tried sv_search_key and yes I also set the key in any clients that tried to find the server during the matchmaking. It seems to me that sv_steamgroup is basically the same as sv_search_key. One matches on a random string, the other on a groupid, but in effect both are just server filters. Neither seem to have the desired effect. I also notice you keep using "in theory". I appreciate your reply, I really do, but I am beyond theory now.
