We're getting the same complaints.

A little feedback from our side. The new system is a good idea, but it
makes getting achievements feel rather pointless.

Cheers,

The new system is ridiculous. Several people on my servers and friends
have
played for almost 20 hours after the update and have received nothing.
The old system was better. Why? Because people knew when they were going
to
get items, and therefore had a definite goal to get to, rather than just
having to waste many hours getting nothing or duplicates.

Either:

   1. Go back to the old system
   2. Make the weapons available at launch
