Ahh, sorry Kyle, the reason that the version I sent didn't work was I was planning on adding threading to it so it processed it faster, but I never ended up finishing it.
Here's the source code for the working version: http://pastie.org/600615.txt It works on Ruby 1.8.6, but more recent versions should work without a problem as well.
